Google Docs takes a huge leap forward with the edition of the collaborative drawing editor along with an improved document editor and spreadsheet editor. 

A New Google Docs...

The KMG team were early adapters of Google docs, wave, voice with the exclusion of buzz (lol.) We found that team meetings and using a WAVE as a moving AGENDA was a great way to keep the team accountable and track actual tasks. 

More importantly the use of Google Docs to collaborate in reference to creating final copy for press releases and email blasts on jugglemail was ideal. I could effectively write several first drafts sending those docs to other team members on Google docs who would then edit. 

When I got it back, I could make final revisions, export as a text file and copy them into the HTML or WYSWIG editor for other online applications like typepad, jugglemail, etc.

Check out Google Docs and see what you can do with it. Weve found it to be an invaluable tool for these collaborative efforts.

Google Voice Sneaks onto the iphone...Ok maybe not sneaks

VOIP Voice Over Internet Protocol can't really be ignored on these damn smartphones. Google voice just rolled out an iphone application.

I mean yes if I were a phone company I would want to block it as well. But let's face it as any user of Skype or google voice noise your sometimes taking a step backwards in call quality if your depending on these things for a strong connection.

We have been beta with this new Typepad Connect and really liking it. I have been wanting to move towards getting more interactivity on the site and I think that Connect is going to be a large part in making that happen.

I am a huge dual screen user. It's one of the ways I multitask. So much of our work is done is social media and large applications. Often we use dual screens for writing and copying, moving various files from different applications. (Right now I am writing on one screen while watching Bloodrayne 2. on Netflix, It's a Christmas movie.)

Dual Screen Laptop would be perfect except for the price, $3600. I would have to be extremely mobile a lot in order to have to justify that price. Maybe they'll send me one because I wrote this post. lol Seriously though this would be cool.

I actually have never seen this Movie until now. A fun film with an incredible cast. Many of the performers in this film went onto perform in notable flims...

Kevin Kline- Playing an older guy, looking as old as he is now. Funny!

Susan Surandon as a Pretentious 80's babe.

Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as the young 80's babe.

Rod Steiger and Danny Aiello yelling at each other is fantastic.

Alan Rickman as an artist, a supporting role.

This is a great cast and it's great to see them share the scream. Enjoy!

 

Hula TV:Airwolf Season 1 and 2: Cool!

Hula TV has Donald P. Bellisario's, "Airwolf" with Jan-Michael Vincent, Ernest Borgnine and Jean Bruce Scott. When I was a wee lad I was a fan of this show and I am enjoying re-watching these great shows. The show has some bold strokes to it but it's easy to see the formula of a small team working against the odds to do good is constant and solid.

There are several things that made the show work essentially the relationship between  a young Jan- Michael Vincent with a historical actor like Ernest Borgnine was the key, The fantastic helicopter footage at times is still Cool.

Bellisario did Magnum PI and eventually Quantum Leap ( An Industry favorite.), JAG (Which my Dad loved.) and now NCIS one of the most watched and well rated shows in television.

Enter Jean Bruce Scott...

A few years ago I was sitting in the theater at San Diego State University working on a show with some juggling students when a couple recognized me from my juggling show one of them was a professor. They said they loved the show and wanted to recommend me for a local show. I thanked them and I stated that his wife looked extremely familiar, " I did TV in the 80's" she said, "I'm Jean Bruce Scott."

I said I completely remember her and was a fan...

Hulu.com continues to impress

Hulu.com continues to impress me with its plethora of choices and the reality of what we talked about it early internet circles 7 years ago. Streaming Quality Video on demand for free. So far I've been able to keep up on Battlestar Galactica and watch episodes of shows I enjoy but am never am home to see at the right times. Shows like House and New Amsterdam.

OLD SHOWS ARE NEW AGAIN!!!

In addition I get to watch seasons of a show I later enjoyed but never saw the beginnings of like Babylon 5 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. By the way Firefly is also available.

I will continue to review shows occasionally when I can...enjoy Hulu.

This is the future of entertainment and how we will continue to combine entertainment, technology, productivity and the internet. This is the next advertising venue and I intend to keep updated and on top of this next trend.

I hulu (Look I'm using it as a verb.) while I work on blogs, social networks, writings, IM, etc. I can watch favorite episodes at the same time. lol. Multi-taskers away baby...
