As an Entertainer Entrepreneur that does talk interviews this interview is inspiring because the comedian on comedy central nails the Investment analyst on a news network to the wall.

"Yeah I'm under the assumption and maybe this purely ridiculous...that you just don't take their word for face value that you actually then go and try to figure it out." - Jon Stewart
Jon really nails this interview to the wall and I don't think anyone expected this level of interview. NICE!
I'll take Stewart.. Why? For the simple reason that Cramer is trying to discredit a comedian as an entertainer for being a comedian and an entertainer. While Stewart is embracing his role as a comedian and an entertainer.
Cramer is a a great analyst that is also an entertainer. Here we go again with someone in talk radio and in this case TV talk radio that wants to separate himself from being an entertainer. This guy is incredibly compelling as an analyst because he entertaining.
I think both Cramer and Stewart are brilliant. But this feud is damn entertaining...
When I first started getting involved with Radio I had to listen to Rush and he is quite talented. However just because someone is talented doesn't mean that I agree with him. Nor should we agree with someone just because they are well spoken.I believe that this system is built on tension and by meeting in the middle we have a better country for it.

Let's be clear if you listen to the actual footage it was a passing comment it was not as blatant as the Michael J. Fox incident.
Now this is the opposite of a respectful comment like the one Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg got on a card from someone as she is recovering from Cancer which said,
"I don't agree with any of your opinions, but I hope you get well soon."
Wow! Just when I give this guy a break for having an opposing opinion he makes yet another inappropriate comment like the time he made fun of Michael J. Fox.
As an entertainer you know there are times that you can make fum of people and there are times that it's inappropriate to do so. These are two instances where I believe it's inappropriate, life threatening diseases.
This guy is not the leader of the Republican Party nor should he be. He
technically makes a living getting as many people listening to him as
possible on the radio. That's different than being a politician and
actually having the responsibility to listen to all of the people in
your actual town, city or district. As a talk show host he can pick his
own fight, his listeners choose to listen to him from all over the
country. Those listeners pay him a LOT OF MONEY by paying attention the
advertisers. He is preaching to the choir.
Politicians get a salary and in theory have to listen to everyone in a
district, city or town. Which is why a Democratic state like CA has a
Republican Governor.I stopped seriously listening one day to Rush when he LOST IT on the air. He literally blew up on a caller on the air. It was like listening to a train wreck. That was the day I realized that this guy has too many people listening to him and because of that fact no one has any authority to direct this guy. Then later I realized it was probably during his addiction era.
Just because someone is an entertainer doesn't mean there opinion does not count. I hate the fact that radio show hosts and pundits will go after entertainers for speaking their minds or pushing a cause just because their entertainers.
Entertainment is one the largest exports of America. We all contribute to this capitalist society. As an entertainer I don't make fun of entrepreneurs. I happen to be both as well do many entertainers.
RECAP...
1. Rush is talented but at time inappropriate. I thought this last comment about Kennedy was lame.
2. There is no real consequence for Rush in fact it will mot likely bolster his revenue because he will continue to create a database and following.
3. Entertainers, Entrepreneurs and Radio People need to respect each other because we all live here and we all contribute to the country.
What lesson do I take from this. I thank you for reading the blog and I will continue to grow my own little database one person at a time and I will try not to get so full of myself that I drop my foot in my mouth like Limbaugh. Oh yeah and I know I'm an Entertainer and an Entrepreneur...

On tonight's Coast to Coast am radio show Dr. Leonard Sax author Boys Adrift a book about the growing epidemic of unmotivated boy and underachieving young men apparently did not show up. Ian Punnett the host of the show apparently believes that it has everything to do with Jet Lag.
I was listening to one of my favorite radio shows and hosts Ian Punnett, this show is one of the reasons I decided to go into talk radio. As I began to feel for Ian realizing that he was without a guest and going to open lines. I decided to check on exactly who the guest was. Boys Adrift is a doctors perspective on a alarming trend of unmotivated young men. Wow!
This is great guest on a great topic. I just found it completely amusing in my own weird way that he didn't show up. So I couldn't resist writing the HEADLINE.
