(Blog, Tip) Using a Trackball Mouse comes with the inherent problem of dust blocking the sensors and then suddenly you lose the ability to move your onscreen pointer horizontally or vertically. This is typically followed by some sort of expletive before you realize what the problem is.
Air cans, blowing on your mouse, cleaning your trackball is the next obvious step.
Tip: Place a Swiffer Duster sheet below your trackball mouse to keep dust at bay.
After a few days or a week lift it up and you'll see all the wonderful dust collected and then maybe you'll buy a HEPA filter as I did.
Also now you have easy access to a Swiffer Dust Sheet to keep the rest of your workspace dust-free.
