Finally felt like getting back to working out...
After back to back colds I actually got back to working out. Wow! this is the first time I have been sore from working out in months. The last times were mostly from BEING SICK!
When I juggle or perform on a regular basis with multiple shows it's very hard to workout as well. Baseball players experience something similar, they have a tendency to bulk up in the off-season knowing that they will actually lose muscle mass during the run.
The biggest challenge I have now is that working out causes a bit more energy and at the same time I need more sleep to really recover. My editing, writing and shooting schedule does not really bode to that so well. lol
Where am I going with this...
BALANCE IS A MYTH aka BALANCE SMALANCE
Ron Fender and I talk about this a lot. Anyone who accomplishes large projects, generally speaking a BALANCED LIFE IS A MYTH. That does not mean that you can't have one in the future. It's just righ now for me and I think a lot of people in this re-building of the economy it's a lot of work.
So keep good and motivating thoughts around you. Remember sleep deprevation can be TRANCE INDUCING so it's important to recognize when your subconcious mind is going down the negative rabbbit hole of doom.
Find things that are actually rewarding for you. Celebrate the completion of something. Don't be afraid of hanging out with people for a moment.
Anyway I am probably preaching to the choir and definitely talking to myself at this point.
