I may actually need to buy sunglasses...
The second biggest star is losing mass and when it collapses we'll have not one but two suns for a few weeks. This also means that the EARTH would get 24 hours of LIGHT and that means, I will have to buy some sunglasses.
For other people it may be the 7th sign and the end of the world but for the rest of us we'll know what its like to live in ALASKA.
Oddly enough while it's not the 7th sign it is a real world example of what will actually happen to our SUN. I know its not going to happen in our lifetime but at some point our human race will have to deal with it and I'm sure when they do they will look at the massive amount of data. video tapes and iphone footage of our Two suns.

You'll know that there is a chance it can happen before the end of 2012 or in a MILLION YEARS. That's a pretty wide estimation of time in other field with the exception of THE UNIVERSE.
Oh and by the way don't worry about the possible BLACK HOLE just 1300 light years away...
Needless to say I have an excuse to start looking at Sunglasses.
