San Diego,CA- So the press press release we sent out was picked up by the San Diego Union Tribune. Thank you so much for dropping us into 1.1.09 paper that's a pretty good omen of the New Year.
I started out the marathon attempting to multi-task and was successful at the beginning at taking a nap and coming into the office, but not without consequences and somewhere after day 5 it was over.
The shows are going fairly well and yes I always feel like I could do more, but I have been extremely consistent and weather has been fore the most part good to us.
The only frustration is that I have not been able to pull double duty. As the days have worn on I have gone from physically exhausted to mentally exhausted as well. So I have tried catching up on rest the last few days and that has helped.
Some of our team members unaffected by the Holidays have been working on projects but others have been affected by the Holiday schedule as well. I expect the phone to RING a lot next week.
I have two more days to push and that's it so I will be mostly planning what needs to be done next week and send out short specific messages and emails about it. My apologies for not being the superman but after the 5th day the shows got the best of me not leaving much left.
For example, the press release that got picked up took me twice as long to put together...ACK!
Don't worry all blogging, emails, podcasts are going to take an aggressive stance in the New Year. With great SHIFT comes great opportunity and we intend to do our best to identify and pursue those opportunities for us, clients, readers and listeners....
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!
