Pirates doing well in Somalia: I have the wrong job..Argggg

Somalia's Pirates are doing well, so well that their spurning economic growth. It wouldn't be so funny if it wasn't true.

Here is an alarming quote from this article...

"In northern coastal towns like Haradhere, Eyl and Bossaso, the pirate economy is thriving thanks to the money pouring in from pirate ransoms that have reached $30 million this year alone."

I have heard random stories of modern pirates taking advantage of people in certain areas of the world but this is off the chart...
