Spielberg is Raising 1 billion to reinvent Dreamworks. I think this is a great move by Spielberg the industry has a tendency to make global moves based on what's working which is why we get a lot of formula films. They work, they make money, etc. While Spielberg is now a major part of "The Industry" he still has always been a guy with a vision.
In so many of my conversations with Entrepreneurs and even my own internal dialogue is always about the fear of raising money. The denial that you should be raising capital to expand. So when someone of noted success says hey it's time to raise capital. I always find it a bit inspiring.
