Tonight I will be at the Belly Up tavern MCing my friend Noah Crouch's event. Yotamak Media's Dan Leavitt and Michal Tuz  will be documenting the event. Carl Overstreet will be with as well to handle the networking of the upcoming talent. Carl Produced the last music video we worked on. ( Thats another Story)

Kevin Fulton will be in the Studio and I will be " Phoning it In"  with updates regarding the show, artsists and stuff. Well see if we can post some pictures as soon as possible.

Kevin Maney was our guest tonight on NewBiz Radio. Kevin Maney has been writing for USA Today for 20 Years and has been named one of the 10 most influential technology journalists by Adweek magazine.

Tonight we talked about him being a witness to some of the most incredible stories in the technology era, including a visit to an odd little start-up. That start-up was located by train tracks in an industrial space, when he arrived the door was propped open because the A/C was broken and there were buckets on the floor because there were holes in the leaking roof.

That business had a taped piece of paper on the door which said, YAHOO...

Kevin Maney in the last few years has begun writing these great songs that have been birthed due to his life in technology.  A little bit of Comedy, Music and Capitalism. So far my favorites right now are Invented a New Router and I Love Capitalism.

His last book The Maverick and His Machine: Thomas Sr. and the Making of IBM, is a great portrait of  man who was very human and incredibly brilliant.

You can learn a lot about being successful from reading a biography. This is a good place to start.

3. Marketing

1. Copy Writing- Effectively communicating your product or service in an effective way.

3. Marketing- You can market a website for no money, but realistically you want to put a budget to it.

What inspires you? Who Inspires you?
This weeks theme on the show is inspiration.

We must all dig down deep and sometimes find what inspires us to do those things that we know we must do in order to live the kind of life we would like to live.

I know that looks simple in print.

This week is about finding the inspiration to do the impossible. Your inspiration could be as close as your family, but it also can be a friend who has recovered from cancer, a movie, an event in history.

Here are some questions...

1. What inspires you right now?
2. Who inspires you? a family member, a friend, an historical figure?
3. What historic events inspire you? Berlin Wall, 9/11, WWII.
4. What events from your past inspire you? Think about one of the most important inspiring events from your own personal history.
5. What future event(s) inspires you? your business, your family, your home...

Finally, how can you turn your inspiration into perspiration?

Create some action steps regarding your project using the inspiration from your life.
