Lawyer against Lawsuit Abuse?

David Warren Peters of www.LawyersAgainstLawsuits.com joined me in the studio with Andy Kotner of San Diego's Californians against Lawsuit Abuse www.sdcala.org. We got an update on CALA. If you’re interested in getting involved with the movement to help discourage frivolous lawsuits then visit www.sickoflawsuits.org .

Andy Kotner was kind enough to send me the following information regarding the show.

Apparently the organizations held a "wake" for a business that was a victim of lawsuit abuse, they have posted footage on this website.

BIG WEB EVENT

David KamatoyBIG WEB EVENT-Wow, last night was great ! Thank you all for attending the BIG WEB EVENT. We were able to create an amazing amount of Synergy at this event and we look forward to meeting with everyone in person.

Kevin Fulton, Steve Dahl and Myself had a great time hosting this event.

We had the founder of Cooler Email there Lars Helgeson who is by the way younger than I am, that kind of "irks" me, but in a good inspiring way.

Also joining us was Greg Writer-CEN, Don Ochoa-Mobile Data Comm, Dave Smith-NASE, Rob Preston-SVCFinancial, Tiamo-Singer Songwriter, Bob Wurster from Result-based-marketing, and Taina Joseph from Endless Graphics.

However the fun moment for me was when I did a 5 min. bit with Brad French my juggling partner which caught a couple of people off guard for sure.

NASE Tuesday

Dave Smith from the NASE brought us, Mike Turner from www.businesskm.com to sit on the hotseat. His company helps small businesses get multi-media onto the web. This led well into the BIG WEB EVENT conversation. Clinton Bruce visited us for a moment today, it was great to have him on board.

Steve Dahl and I had a blast post the show prepping for the BIG WEB EVENT, starting blogs and I showed him www.SVCFinancial.com new push technology player which we will be previewing. This is the future of internet marketing as we know it and it's great to know its in our court first.

Weekend Update

The weekend was exhausting, Brad French and I performed 8 shows in front of the Pond in Balboa Park. Saturday it was about 7 degrees too hot therefore the crowds were not as responsive. Sunday however was a perfect temperature and although I am still a shade darker, it was a good comedic day.

Brad gave me a copy of the San Diego Union Tribune where I was recently quoted in reference to the passing of the Pope. How eve I did not see it myself, actually my last name was incorrect even though I handed them a card, "David Katamoy"

Another humbling moment in the world of Media...

WebLog Launch

Well today I enter the Blogosphere. What a wonderful and strange time we live in.  This day may go down in history as the day David Kamatoy launched a blog but I think you'll just recall this as TAX DAY.

I am humbled and stretched by this new New Biz Radio project in ways that I never thought I could stretch. A few years ago I had no thought of being on talk radio 5 days a week. However if Ive learned anything its learning to enjoy the journey and the destination.

If your reading this blog, I want to wish you a happy and prosperous future filled with a full and meaningful life. Learn not to take anything for granted, be incredibly gratious, find confidence at the times when you think there is nothing, never doubt the power of prayer, even if its not for you and finally I hope you can share this journey with someone special.
