Bloom Energy is starting to produce a FUEL CELL that apparently is about the size of a refrigerator that can power a house. Like a lot of newly publicized technology it's been around for a while but with the PR machine in play 60 minutes is on the Story...
I found a press releases on Media Newswire...

Regardless of price this is way cool and a good sign for the GREEN INDUSTRY IN GENERAL. As the current climate is FINALLY pro GREEN this should excite the market and help all Green Products as they develop.
The No More Geysers and Kamatoy Media Group team will be attending GREEN CALIFORNIA which should be a hotbed for Green products. This is an exciting story and makes me pretty excited to attend the GREEN CA Show.

Foods and cosmetics containing the color additives carmine and cochineal extract, which are made from an insect YUCK! But you won't know until Jan. 5, 2011. The ironic thing is that we have been using these products for years and not knowing.
The reason is that in a minute few there is an apparent allergic reaction...hmmm I hatewhen that happens.

The original Antikythera computer was found on board a ship broken and fused together dated back to 150 B.C. technology like this would not be seen for another 1,000 years.
Several attempts have been made using the 81 parts found via 3d modeling, xray etc. to recreatea and reconstruct a working Antikythera with no success.
Oddly enough an amateur Michael Wright, a former curator at the Science Museum in London, has built a replica of the Antikythera, which works perfectly. COOL!

Brings up a ongoing question though. If we were so ahead of ourselves technology wise 2,000 years ago, what happened? Was technology the victim of those in powe?. Could be, I mean look how long it's taken us to get to green and fuel efficient cars.

The answer, according to the study published in the US journal Science on Thursday, comes from the energy from the movements and interactions of quarks and gluons.
In other words, energy and mass are equivalent, as Einstein proposed in his Special Theory of Relativity in 1905.
The e=mc2 formula shows that mass can be converted into energy, and energy can be converted into mass.

Schuster told The Associated Press that eventually it should be possible to re-create any extinct creature that lived within the last 100,000 years, given suitable genetic material.
Wow! what a complete and total insane wonderful reality. However like Jurassic park I dont think it would be the best Idea to reintroduce certain species. Let's face it it's a different world but the Wooly Mammoth is only slightly different than the African Elephant.
Apparently there is an estimate for just under 10 million dollars apparently they can reawaken the sleeping fury giant.

30 Year Old Claudio Castillo is the pioneering patient that has received a windpipe grown from Stem Cells. This seems like the stuff of Science Fiction until you realize how far the UK has taken this medical technology. Read this article and you'll wonder as I did, "Why is this happening in the UK and not in the US?" It feels as though we only see this on Sci-Fi.
Due to recent technological developments in the medical field, Guide to Healthcare Schools are committed in helping students choose the top schools that support the most advanced practices.
Regardless this is a landmark in medical history and a glimpse of part of the future that is already here. Hopefully soon the rest the world will be looking at us and saying the same things regarding energy technology.
